Evidence that diet and acne are related is still hard to pin down. However new research has found a direct link between eating ice cream and an increased risk fo developing acne.

Scientists from the University Hospital of Kuala Lumpur found that eating ice cream more than once a day significantly increased the risk of developing acne.

The cause of the acne is the type and levels of milk and sugar found in ice cream, which in theory increase the growth of a specific hormone that produces more oil in the skin and may lead to bloked and infected pores.
