Nothing worked for Rose’s arthritic hands until she discovered Celafen

Rose Johnstone 51 lives in East Dulwich London with her husband. She has suffered from painful arthritis in both hands for the last two years.

After experiencing pain and stiffness in her fingers Rose went to see her GP and was diagnosed with arthritis, but she wasn’t prescribed Non-steroid anyi-inflammtory drugs (NSAID's) for her arthritis.

Within weeks the pills had upset her stomach and made her feel frequently dizzy and nauseous. Rose went back to her GP where she was told these were common side effects of these painkillers.

Rose decided that she did not want to live her life feeling so ill, so she begen her search for an alternative treatment for her arthritis.

Rose says:

"Having arthritis in your fingers is extremely frustrating, I can no longer do many of the things I took for granted, even preparing the vegetables for dinner is painful! Before my arthritis I was a keen sewer but found the intricate work too painful after a while and had to give up."
"But although the painkillers dulled tha pain in my fingers, feeling ill from taking painkillers was almost as bad as the pain I was feeling in my fingers. It felt like being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
"So when my husband showed me an advert in the local paper for arthritis sufferers to join trials of a new cream, shown in studies to reduce pain and stiffness in just thirty minutes, I hoped this would be the solution I had been looking for."

Celafen contains a unique clinically tested patented ingredient called celadrin ®, which is made from a special complex of esterified fatty acids (EFA’s).  Celafen™ has the further advantage of having no dangerous side effects, such as those linked to NSAIDs.

Several pieces of published research, including two studies in the prestigious Journal of Rheumatology, have measured the effect that celadrin® has on joint pain and stiffness with convincing results. The researchers found that celadrin ® improved symptoms just 30 minutes after the topical cream was applied.

A published double blind, multicentre, placebo-controlled trial (the most scientifically validated) on 64 participants found that those using celadrin ® had more flexibility, fewer aches, less pain and were able to walk further distances than the placebo group after the nine-week trial period.

"The cream arrived a few days later with some information and some hand exercises to asses how much pain I was in," says Rose.  At first I found the ‘peeling veg’ exercise really painful a 9/10 but after applying the Celafen cream this was reduced to a 6/10 in just 30 minutes and after using the cream for a week peeling veg was 4/10!"

"I was delighted with the quick results and the lumps on my joints have lost their redness and seem to have gone down in size."

"I would recommend this cream to anyone suffering with painful arthritis, it’s completely natural which is great as it doesn't make me feel ill and I don't worry about side effects. The cream also feels and smells lovely, lasts ages and works really quickly to reduce pain and stiffness. I find that within about 40 minutes each morning my fingers are less stiff and much less painful and I can get on with my day without dropping everything at breakfast or having to rub my fingers for ages to even be able to undo the front door before I go out. "

Each morning before gettig up Rose rubs Celafen into her hands for 15 minutes. She also also takes a glucosamine supplement and cod liver oil. She now only rarely has to take  pain killers for her arthritis.

GP Dr Donald Grant comments:
“There is good evidence for the efficacy of long chain fatty acids in preparations such as Celafen ™ for the treatment of chronic joint pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. In my opinion Celafen is worth trying because if it can help reduce sufferer’s dependence on NSAIDs, and there is good evidence to suggest that it might, this can only be a good thing as joint pain and arthritis is a chronic condition and long-term use of painkilling drugs is not an ideal solution as they can cause other health complications and side effects over long periods of time.”
